​MEET Dr. Solinsky
Dr. Alan Solinsky is a graduate of the Univ. of CT School of Medicine. He trained at Hartford Hospital, Hahnemann Univ., and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. He is a clinical instructor for the Dept. of Surgery at the Univ. of CT. He is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and is a Member and Diplomat of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He has performed thousands of micro-surgical eye operations and has been in practice since 1990.
​MEET Dr. Jeng
Dr. Dave Jeng completed his medical retina fellowship at London’s prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital. Before that, Dr. Jeng graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University, receiving his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine and his ophthalmology training and residency at the Doheny Eye Institute of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians as well as a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
​MEET Dr. Hwang
Dr. Jeremy C. Hwang completed his medical school and PhD at Columbia University, ophthalmology residency at the Doheny Eye Institute of the University of Southern California, and glaucoma fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins University. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, as well as cataracts and comprehensive ophthalmology.
​MEET Dr. Janik
Dr. Susan Janik received her doctorate from The New England College of Optometry in Boston. She is licensed in Advanced Optometric Care and is certified in Corneal Reshaping Therapy technology. Dr. Janik is an active member of the American Optometric Association including its Contact Lens and Cornea section, the Optometric Nutrition Society and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists.
MEET Dr. Schulman
Dr. Randy Schulman, MS, OD, FCOVD, FCSO graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She graduated with her Doctorate in Optometry and Masters in Vision Science degrees from the State University of New York, College of Optometry and is currently Adjunct Clinical Professor at the school. Dr. Schulman received Fellowships in the College of Optometrists for Vision Development
and the College of Syntonic Optometry and is an Associate member of the Optometric Extension Program and the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association.
Dr. Schulman has lectured extensively on behavioral optometry topics such as vision in the classroom, vision and aging, visual difficulties in the developmentally delayed, and
has lectured and/or published on vision and autism, lenses and prisms, Lyme disease, brain injury, pupillary constriction, functional field testing and multisensory integration. She specializes in integrative optometry and vision therapy with emphasis on vision
rehabilitation, pediatrics, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury, concussions and preventative, integrative and alternative vision care for all ages.

MEET Dr. Thimons
Dr. J. Jim Thimons is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Optometry. He completed his hospital residency at Chillicothe VA Medical Centers in Columbus, OH and then he served as, Chief, Optometry Service until 1985. He then accepted the position of Center Director at Omni Eye Services, Fairfax, VA and served in that role until 1989. When he became Chairman, Dept. of Clinical Sciences at SUNY. In 1998, he became Executive Director of TLC until 2002 when he co-founded Ophthalmic Consultants of CT. He is a national and internationally acclaimed Speaker and Educator in ophthalmic clinical education.

MEET Dr. Hac
Dr. Alexandra Hac earned her Doctorate of Optometry from MCPHS University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She completed a residency in ocular disease at the Newington CT Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists. Dr. Hac has a special interest in posterior segment disease and is dedicated to providing an individualized approach to each patient.

Meet Dr. Friedman
Kimberly Friedman, OD is a founding partner of Moorestown Eye Associates, a large private group
optometric practice in New Jersey, and the Director of The Dry Eye Clinic at Moorestown Eye. She is a
past president of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, a fellow in the American Academy of
Optometry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, and a past Clinical Director for the NJ and
National Special Olympics Opening Eyes Program.
She currently serves as a vice president of education and scientific affairs with the PRN Vision Group.
She also serves on the national advisory board of PECAA/Healthy Eyes Advantage, previously on the
advisory board of Women in Optometry Magazine and has appeared in numerous television segments
and print media throughout the United States including “The Rachael Ray Show” and multiple
Philadelphia area morning programs. Dr. Friedman has received many awards including the NJSOP OD of
the Year and Young OD of the Year Awards, VSP’s People First Award, and the Special Olympics National
Recognition Award. She lectures nationally and internationally and writes recurring columns for various
eye care related publications.
​MEET Dr. Lee
Dr. Lyndon B. Lee is a graduate of Stanford University and received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the eyelids, eye socket, and tear drainage system, cosmetic procedures of the eyelids and face, and comprehensive ophthalmology. He completed a two-year, ASOPRS-accredited oculoplastics fellowship at the University of North Carolina and did his ophthalmology residency at the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as chief resident. He is a board certified ophthalmologist.
​MEET Dr. Cooper
Dr. Michael S. Cooper (Coop) is a graduate of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received his doctorate from The New England College of Optometry. He has produced research, participated on expert ocular surface disease advisory boards, published peer reviewed work, and lectured domestically and internationally on a variety of ocular disease topics. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Intrepid Eye Society, Ocular Surface Society of Optometry, and Connecticut Association of Optometrists. Dr. Cooper is the Director of Medical Education, Optometry and Ophthalmology l Eyes on Eyecare.
MEET Dr. Pribis
She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Pribis earned her doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, graduating with High Honors. She also completed a second Bachelor of Science in Visual Sciences during this time. Dr. Pribis has been inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Pribis completed her residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, where she focused on ocular disease, vitreo-retinal disease, glaucoma and low vision management. In addition to her residency specializations, she completed rotations with the Wilmer Eye Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Pribis joined Stamford Ophthalmology in 2010.
Dr. Pribis is a member of the American Optometric Association and several state optometric associations including Connecticut. She became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2010. She was also president of the Student Optometric Service to Humanity where eye care was provided to underprivileged Guatemalans.
