​MEET Dr. Solinsky

Dr. Alan Solinsky is a graduate of the Univ. of CT School of Medicine. He trained at Hartford Hospital, Hahnemann Univ., and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. He is a clinical instructor for the Dept. of Surgery at the Univ. of CT. He is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and is a Member and Diplomat of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He has performed thousands of micro-surgical eye operations and has been in practice since 1990.

​MEET Dr. Hwang

Dr. Jeremy C. Hwang completed his medical school and PhD at Columbia University, ophthalmology residency at the Doheny Eye Institute of the University of Southern California, and glaucoma fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins University. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, as well as cataracts and comprehensive ophthalmology.

MEET Dr.  Collier

  Dr. Collier earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. She then graduated from the State University of New York, State College of Optometry with her Doctor of Optometry degree. While on the Dean’s List, she conducted research on Computer Vision Syndrome and received her Master’s degree in Vision Science from the Schnurmacher Institute of Vision Research. 

Dr. Collier’s research has been published in Ophthalmic and Physical Optics; the Journal of the College of Optometrists, Optometry; Journal of the American Optometric Association, and Review of Optometry. She has also been recognized by Women in Optometry Magazine, a publication of the Review of Optometry, for her work in Pediatric Optometry. 

She has lectured extensively to physicians, therapists, school faculty, healthcare professionals and students on the importance of visual functioning, and advocates to make vision rehabilitation accessible to individuals of all ages and abilities.

MEET Dr. Solinsky

 Dr. Brian Solinsky completed his fellowship training in medical retina at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah, a prestigious top 10 eye institution. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center of New York Medical College, and his internal medicine internship at UCONN Health. He earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and his bachelor’s at Union College where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Solinsky has also presented his research on macular degeneration at national ophthalmology conferences, and specializes in medical retina, cataracts and comprehensive ophthalmology.

​MEET Dr. Jeng

Dr. Dave Jeng completed his medical retina fellowship at London’s prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital. Before that, Dr. Jeng graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University, receiving his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine and his ophthalmology training and residency at the Doheny Eye Institute of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.  He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians as well as a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

​MEET Dr. Janik

Dr. Susan Janik received her doctorate from The New England College of Optometry in Boston. She is licensed in Advanced Optometric Care and is certified in Corneal Reshaping Therapy technology. Dr. Janik is an active member of the American Optometric Association including its Contact Lens and Cornea section, the Optometric Nutrition Society and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists.

MEET Dr. Thimons

Dr. J. Jim Thimons is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Optometry. He completed his hospital residency at Chillicothe VA Medical Centers in Columbus, OH and then he served as, Chief, Optometry Service until 1985. He then accepted the position of Center Director at Omni Eye Services, Fairfax, VA and served in that role until 1989. When he became Chairman, Dept. of Clinical Sciences at SUNY. In 1998, he became Executive Director of TLC until 2002 when he co-founded Ophthalmic Consultants of CT. He is a national and internationally acclaimed Speaker and Educator in ophthalmic clinical education.

Meet Dr. Warnock

Dr. Warnock is a dedicated optometrist with a passion for comprehensive eye care and the management of ocular disease. She cultivated a strong academic foundation during her undergraduate studies, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She furthered her education by obtaining her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, graduating Cum Laude in 2024. During her time at Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Warnock was honored with induction into the Gold Key International Honor Society, the highest recognition for leadership that a student of optometry may achieve.

Dr. Warnock refined her clinical expertise through a series of demanding externship rotations. At Milan Eye Center in Canton, Georgia, she gained extensive experience in a referral-based ophthalmology clinic, providing peri-operative care, managing ocular diseases, and delivering emergency and acute eye care services. During her externship at Dr. David Fisher Jr. & Associates in Lafayette, LA, she focused on comprehensive eye care, with a particular emphasis on dry eye and ocular surface disease.

Her dedication to advancing her clinical knowledge led her to a residency in primary care with a concentration in ocular disease at Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic in Hammond, Louisiana under the guidance of Dr. Christopher Wroten. This role allowed her to deepen her expertise in managing complex eye conditions, performing advanced procedures, and providing comprehensive eye care. In addition to clinical care during her residency, Dr. Warnock, volunteered her time to speak with local healthcare students about optometry as a career, published an article in a reputable optometric journal, and presented COPE quality continuing education lectures for colleagues.

​MEET Dr. Lee

Dr. Lyndon B. Lee is a graduate of Stanford University and received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the eyelids, eye socket, and tear drainage system, cosmetic procedures of the eyelids and face, and comprehensive ophthalmology.  He completed a two-year, ASOPRS-accredited oculoplastics fellowship at the University of North Carolina and did his ophthalmology residency at the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as chief resident. He is a board certified ophthalmologist.
 

​MEET Dr. Cooper

Dr. Michael S. Cooper (Coop) is a graduate of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received his doctorate from The New England College of Optometry. He has produced research, participated on expert ocular surface disease advisory boards, published peer reviewed work, and lectured domestically and internationally on a variety of ocular disease topics.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Intrepid Eye Society, Ocular Surface Society of Optometry, and Connecticut Association of Optometrists. Dr. Cooper is the Director of Medical Education, Optometry and Ophthalmology l Eyes on Eyecare.

MEET Dr. Pribis

She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Pribis earned her doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, graduating with High Honors. She also completed a second Bachelor of Science in Visual Sciences during this time. Dr. Pribis has been inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Pribis completed her residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, where she focused on ocular disease, vitreo-retinal disease, glaucoma and low vision management. In addition to her residency specializations, she completed rotations with the Wilmer Eye Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Pribis joined Stamford Ophthalmology in 2010.

Dr. Pribis is a member of the American Optometric Association and several state optometric associations including Connecticut. She became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2010. She was also president of the Student Optometric Service to Humanity where eye care was provided to underprivileged Guatemalans.

Meet Dr. Perrino

Dr. Philip Perrino graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Philosophy. He completed both his Doctorate in Optometry and his B.S. in Visual Science in 1990 at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. During this time he served as Vice President of the Student Optometric Service to Humanity and has participated in several medical missions to care for the underprivileged around the world. His concern for the poor most recently brought him to Nigeria to care for a group of widows and orphans who have virtually no access to medical care. He has played an integral part in the completion of a large medical facility for this community as well as funding for schools for the children.

His professional career began as the Center Optometric Director of Community Health Care Plan in Wallingford while simultaneously serving as an affiliate in their New Haven center. During his tenure he earned recognition as an Advanced Optometric Practitioner in CT, which allows him to medically manage a wide variety of ocular diseases and to perform several minor surgical procedures. He later earned the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry which he has maintained to this day. He also maintains affiliations with the National Glaucoma Society, the American Optometric Association, the Connecticut Association of Optometry and serves as a clinical consultant for the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles.

He subsequently founded Royal Vision Associates in 1996 and continues to serve as the chief optometrist. Although highly skilled and passionate in the full range of primary care optometry, he has a particular passion for the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, which forms a substantial portion of his practice. He has lectured on this topic, providing his insight and experience to other doctors in New England.
